Hanitch-Huffman House in Dayton, Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. John Hanitch, wholesalers of groceries and liquor, built their house in 1863. In 1895, Colonel Frank T. Huffman, noted Dayton developer and promoter, president of Huffman Publishing Company, purchased the house as his residence. In 1982, the house was moved from the north side of Monument Ave. over to the south side for preservation. Architectural Style-Italianate.
