St. John the Baptist Catholic Church is a historic Roman Catholic church in Maria Stein, Ohio. The church is the home of an active congregation and has been recognized as a historic site because of its well-preserved late nineteenth-century Romanesque Revival architecture. St. John's Church was completed in 1888 at a cost of $43,354. Architect-Adolphus Druiding; Contractor-Anton DeCurtins. The rectory, built in 1906, was designed by the DeCurtins Brothers in a combination of architectural styles. Joint posting to the National Register of Historic Places on July 26, 1979.
