Westcott House - Springfield, Ohio









The Westcott House in Springfield, Ohio. This house was Architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s first commission in Ohio and his only Prairie-style residence in the state. The house was designed in 1906, and built in 1908. The house was built in for Mr. Burton J. Westcott, his wife Orpha, and their family. On May 11, 2001, the newly formed non-profit The Westcott House Foundation purchased the house. The house is now open to the public. Architectural Style-Prairie School.
